RUCK FOR MIKE 2025
Our 3rd annual Ruck for Mike was a huge success!!! With over 120 people registered, approx. 40 completed a full 18-mile lap, 5 completed 36-miles,
1 completed 54-miles and 2 completed the full 72-miles. That is a combined total of 1080 (counted) miles!!! Most of the other participants walked
between 4-8 miles each!!! Way to go!!!
This year, we turned our focus to two young girls who have faced the unimaginable loss of their mother, Lt. Ellie Shea, a shining star within the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Ellie touched the lives of many with her compassion, dedication, and infectious spirit. Her presence brought light
to every room, and her legacy as a mentor, advocate, and inspiration will forever be remembered. Tragically, Ellie's life was cut short.
She leaves behind her two precious daughters, Lana 7 and Rocky 2.
These beautiful little girls now must grow up without their beloved mother.
The road ahead of them is filled with challenges, but together, we can
ensure that Ellie's legacy lives on through her daughters, as we provide
them with the love, care, and resources they need to thrive.
Because of all of these determined participants, we are happy to say that The Michael Milmerstadt Earn the Day Foundation was able to donate $10,000 to the trust for Lana and Rocky's future. Thank you so much to all that participated and donated.
